I love this video and I praise this man for becoming a voice for the kids who struggle. Finally, light is shed on how difficult it is for some children.
I just watched this video in my Children with Differeing Abilities college course tonight! I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!!! It is soooo true!!!!! Thank you SOO much for uploading!!!!!!
I just had the pleasure of watching this entire video in my education assistant class at college and still felt it to be very relevant. I wish this was shown to all teachers, it would make a huge difference in many students lives.
Wow - what an excellent way of getting those teachers to actually experience what reading is like for kids with dyslexia!
For my daughter's sake, I wish there were a similar demonstration to help teachers and "educrats" understand what it's like to have dyscalculia - and to persuade colleges to allow people who are interested in (and talented at) non-math subjects to get a degree, without having to master any math subjects.
LD people don't "struggle with reading", we struggle with everything, all the time, and most people you meet just make it even harder than it already is.
