Its getting re-released, confirmed on facebook by Keith Arem who owns the rights. An Enhanced version is in the works and it may have some parts of the 2nd half/sequel that were cut before it was originally released. An official announcement is hopefully to be made at Comic Con in July.

I totally wish they would do a sequel. And there's always a chance. Sure, ol' Chris has aged quite a bit, but what with his character becoming a toon in the end, he'd only have to do voicework.
Something's gotta be done. A sequel needs to happen.... that and maybe even a special edition port to PSN and Xbox Arcade.
@Darkman9000 You might want to look for the petition for the ACTUAL Toonstruck 2. Turns out half the game was taken out because of memory issues and was going to be a sequel, and the current rights holder wants to release both games right, but needs to see the demand is there.
Oh yea I'm well aware of that. I practically searched out every possible piece of material related to the game when I started showing interest in it's history.
Demand? Those idiots must be blind, otherwise they'd see that EVERYONE wants to see more of this, hell I can Yahtzee wouldn't mind seeing an original point and click adventure game like this get it's rightful place in the spotlight. Like I said, they could finish the game and have Chris just do Voice over now.
Certainly an idea. Nothing wrong with maybe adding a link to it in the video. Making a tribute to the game that mentions the article with the game's maker expressing his desire to have the game get remade. It does need more attention. You just have to draw it from every place you can.
Great idea!!! i bought toonstruck in 1998 and since that time i was wondering if burst production was going to release a second part, now i see it's impossible for burst but very possible for fans, thanks for the teaser!

but the petition stands only on 3k votes, with a goal of 50k.
And it has been online quite some time now.. Perhaps the petition
needs some form of advertisement ?
