i think u guys hav a diff method to curl your hair than me. cuz i hav the sam flat iron and i got a very pretty curl hair like a expensive flat iron does. it's look great. but it takes more time to do it =]

Yeah, you are definitely going to notice an immediate difference with a better quality straightener. Try investing in a good one - lots of ppl on youtube have tons of favourites! If this isn't an option though, try to get a hold of a good straightening serum (a heat protector is really important if you straighten your hair often!). If not, try spraying a bit of hairspray on your ends before straightening them, and that should hold it. Make sure you brush it through afterward ;) Good luck!

This video is to proove that it is possible to do the curl without spending a fortune on a higher end one. It is for those people who can't afford much else, and still wish to get the most out of their product.
umm i have that flat iron too but i have had alot of trouble getting it hot enough to either do a good job curling or flattening my hair. although when you turn the iron on, also hit the other button that says something like turbo....and it just gets alot hotter.......so if you think that iron is a piece of crap then try hitting the turbo heat button it works WAYYY better

and im waiting for my chi to get delivered. i cant belive you got your hair to curl with that thing! when i try to curl my hair with my straightener now it gets all caught in the plates and pulls it out, maybe ill try it this way instead thx!
i paid like 8 dollars for this straightener and i DO NOT recommend it. i've used it for a couple months now and i went to get my hair trimmed and my hairdresser was surprised at how damaged my hair was. the Conair straightener has ceramic coated plates not ceramic plates. You don't need to spend 70+ dollars for a straightener just get one that's really ceramic!
Ahhh, thank you for this, I'm gonna try it =D I bought mine on ebay, and it gets HOT for the price, but the top and the bottom don't stay perfectly aligned , it wiggles, so it wouldn't work, buuuttt this might ^^
