Shiites do matham in the month of muharam which marks the battle of qarbala, they do matham out of compassion remebering the how much the Prophet grandchildren suffered during the battle.When a loved one dies, its only natural for humans to take their anger out by crying, n even matham. A few mistakes in the writeup that u have uploaded.

2nd antra u wrote 'Koi vi nai asara Abid dai sivah' u just missed the word out 'mera' which goes in between asara and abid.

In the 3rd antra u wrote 'vaim kardi rai akhi' when it should be 'vain kardi rai akeel' the 2nd mistake in this antra is when u wrote 'bhul ni nai Karbobla' when it should be bhuldi nai Karbobala.

Final antra u wrote 'Sahray khanjaar' when it should be 'zayray' hope u dint mind me doing this. ali ali

Here there is a stone on which Hazrat Imam Hussein(as)'s Sar e Mubarak was put and till now that pathar is there and its colour is also abit reddish. Some says that it becomes more red in Ashoora/Moharram.
