AS you can see in my video responses, me being a newbie, the Brinks can be racked with a simple tool I made after breaking my short hook. Not a rake, just a straight piece I use to open the lock when in false set, avoiding pressure on my tools. I cannot rake it every time, but practice makes perfect, right? cheap ass 3 pin lock. What your actually doing is setting the back pin first. Once the back pin is set, the front two fall in place with one quick move. This only works with the back pin set first.
Awesome! You're giving me soooo many ideas. lmao! You're very talented. Just one question. What is the most popular lock that people chose to lock up valuables with?
That is awsome. I picked a lock like that, but not the way you picked it. I wonder if you can find a Master lock like that. Same design, but with extra security.
Haven't been able to pick it. I'm going to Home Depot to see if I can find the same model.
like charlie said, this will work in one go only if the lock is keyed similar to your pick. if you have a very low setting pin in the middle forexample, this might not be as smooth going :)
I think i have managed to open a few more locks with that method. I've found filing cabinet locks can be opened with raking/vibraion real easily, cud just be cheap locks though. The damm abus discus lock I've been trying to open at the moment is being a real ass. I looked on the abus website and it has mushroom security pins, so I think I will need to use less tension when doing pin-by-pin picking.

That relies on the same basic principal as lock bumping. Anyway, Great video.

naw! not weakly keyed - but more of a cool comb-technique w/o a comb! ;) Clever boyo, good job!
Straaasse 2 years ago
just a weakly keyed lock, dont try this, you will just break your pick.
Spywell 2 years ago 8
it doesnt work, but its a good way to break your saw rake

ugh. no dice for me.

I agree I think your lock has a weak key bitting .

Would this work for a brinks high, not max security lock?
Jinglesanator 3 years ago
Locks are all keyed differently. Yours may be keyed weakly.
