  • In the 70's Dutch music was one of the best of the planet. Unfortunately much didn't got the chance. Just like nowadays. We only hear lady Gaga shit!

  • Definately underrated for so long! This is a must listen to for any "Venus" fan!

  • Me hubiera encantado nacer en esa epoca ):

  • un clasico, saludos desde Perú.

  • dont fall in love with me...hahahaha

  • Shocking Blue ja Mariska Veres kuuluu sarjaan Top ten on the world, jossa ovat aikojen loppuun saakka The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, CCR, The Eagles, Simon & Garfunkel...

  • Good Grief! I haven't heard this song for decades!

    WoW! Great song.

Mariska has (had) one of the finest voices in early rock.

    Whatever happened to her?

    Good looking lady, too!

  • @rattmamma But is his heart on his train?

  • @ajay999999 You mean "her heart"? If you do, her heart seems to be fully in his train. As a matter of fact, seems like she loves the guy she's backbiting.

  • @rattmamma No doubt she meant the guys who built the railroads and moved on all the time.

  • @rattmamma He fucked you over in the end eh?

  • @Mattiasje not hardly! One of the BEST men I ever had the pleasure of knowing.

  • she´s very beautiful

  • This is a fantastic song and a well thought out arrangement. The nylon string guitar sounds like it was played by a competent flamenco player rather than a rock guitarist -and sounds like fingers rather than picks to me - anyone know? Love that sequence...Dm/C/Dm/Bflat/F.(F,E,Dm)

    We miss you Mariska. R.I.P

  • de webos!!!!

  • 44 people disliked this video...

    ..big deal.

  • Today I just knew that the singer is a girl !

  • ahhh! great music for anal sex. just ask my dog...

  • @Tasha6cat Lmfao..

  • wonderful song - wonderful artists and musicians... but horrible preformers :D

  • @Daelyas

Music wasn't about performing at those days. It was about sound...

Today it's all about performance but most of the artists aren't capable of singing live..

  • @groentjealkmaar at least in pop music that is true :) And though I agree (of course) with you that music is not about preforming... it still looks very funny viewed in this day and age :D

  • @groentjealkmaar clearly you've never seen jimi hendrix set his guitar on fire...

  • @fernando-----u hate the beatles? whos a dipshit? you're a little boy skateboarder. weeeeeeeeee.

My father and Lajos used to play a lot after coming home from his boring work at the office...I was just 3-5 years old and still remember it.. I'm gladd I met you a couple of times in Delft in 2005, dear Mariska.I 'll never forget you....

  • @delfia406: you really knew Mariska? The music of Shocking Blue was always one of my favourates.

But it would have been nothing without the voice of the charismatic Mariska.

  • @mseven125

We were neighbours around 1960.. My father still talks about her father and the music they meda occasionly together. All bands from the Sixties came from The Hague (near Scheveningen). As a child i listened to Groep 1850,Q65,Shocking Blue,Ear tand Fire etc etc... all from The Hague...
