I actually think that The Notebook is a mini version of Titanic. But for me, it didn't beat Titanic. Rich girl loves poor boy, rich girl's mom wouldn't allow it, forbidden, love triangle including another man, separated, fought for love, a tragedy happens (Allie's sickness, Jack's death), then reunited again at the end.

I love both of the films very much, though. I cried to both so hard and I never get sick of watching these. :) Titanic is hands down epic and The Notebook will touch your heart.
