Civilisation stage was defintely the most disappointing stage for me.

Building on planets should've been like sim city while still being balanced in terms of production and defence, and you should've been able to land your tanks etc on enemy planets.

Imperium Galactica 2 managed it and it's an incredibly old game.

Instead once you're on space stage and hitting your resource quota, there's no point fleshing out colonies because its so incredibly dull.

Why are people wanting old spore back? As you saw in the video, there was SIX building parts in each Category. Now, we have something like 20 or 30.

Is the interface what makes people want old spore, or the shapes of towns. Of course it would be cool if towns weren't always circles.

You just have to buy the game at gamestop or whatever your favorite gaming store is and install it! You also have to make an account on spore(.)com (free) and you can download the creatures/buildings (free) and they just appear!

The civ fase is building 10-20 units, right clicking an enemy town and hit "make my city".

Thank God there was a good movie on while I was playing though that part.

you cant be a creature when you av a truck and stuff, i think you mean when you become civilised. you can, however (i think) when you enter the space phase, so you can see what the creatures on other planets think of you.

The game was nothing like they promised it to be. . . don't get me wrong, it was addicting, but I didn't enjoy the full game like I'd normally would with their games. I only liked creating creatures, cell stage, and creature stage. The rest of it was quite boring. They removed too many features.

I was also disappointed with Sims3. They're really disappointing one of their lifelong fans. . . and that's not good.
