Battlefield Bad Company 2 is the greatest First Person Shooter in the last five years. It is way better than every other online game. If you have not already, you really need to get it from BFBC2DownloadXcom (replace X with . ). My buddies and I did it and it runs terrific.

I finally realized that its the little kids with no respect for what actual warfare is that play MW2. MW1 was an amazing game, sure it didnt have the killstreaks which is really the only thing MW2 has going for it but it was realistic and it wasnt just a run n gun nervous twitch shooter. Battlefield is great, its the most realistic depiction of what war is, and the people that play arent retarded little kids. Long live battle field. Infinity ward please go back to the drawing board!

MW2's guns do more realistic damage, that you have to give credit to.

Mw2 does not have realistic gun damage. Especially if there are things like FMJ and Stopping Power. The .50cal in Mw2 takes 2 hits when in real life it would blow a hole in your torso. BC2 is more realistic because it introduces range, velocity, and gravity to your bullet.

I havent played long enough to unlock a 50 cal, I have however played long enough that it takes 4-5 shots in the chest to bring down a guy in this game with a weak assault rifle.

In BC2 beta, it takes several shots with the silenced AK (I think thats what it is) to bring down a guy. Normally, 2 shots should be more than enough. Hence why training for soldiers are tought the Double Tap technique.

I've played a few maps and even the new Squad DM. The jungle map is insane and will be the closest to MW2's run n gun only its your squad against 3 other squads so it's like you 4 vs12. plus there is 1 vehicle in the middle that everyone runs for. sometimes ending up being a death trap.

Mw2 is a great game... but it gets boring extremly fast... Trust me, I'm 2nd Prestige (59)... Same thing over and over. But in BFBC2 you can go in vehicles, destroy buildings, and it is overall more team based... The game changes everytime you play it... ONLY thing wrong is tank control on the knife, so f'n slow

NOBODY has the war game genre down right. MW2 is good for instant satisfaction without much tactics. BFBC2 is the opposite. As far as i am concerned, Desert Storm series was by far the best of both worlds, MAKE ANOTHER FOR PS3 PLEASE! and one more thing, the parachutes were cool, but no one ever gives the soldiers rope for awesome rappeling action anytime you want. You can do so much with a rope. that was proven in RSVegas.

No you're wrong. It isn't designed around vehicles other wise it would be a racing game. Vehicles are added to enhance the experience but it is not necessary for them to be used. They are there as options.

You don't need to use vehicles in combat. It is an option. Using a vehicle increases your chance of dying and draws more attention. That's why it is an option. Your squad doesn't have to use vehicles but it is there for the squads that do use them.
