@TheSpeedslayer Since Zipper and Sony stopped listening to true Socom players. We tell them what to make and what we want and they do whatever they want. Which is target COD fan boys and ruin a franchise for the gay ass gimmicky PS Move. Socom 4 should not even be called Socom. It should be called "Sogone 4ever" because Zipper and the Slant 6 fags killed Socom.

COD and SOCOM are worlds apart and still is, SOCOM4 is more like MAG then any COD, which should explane why its a little bit different then past SOCOMs.

@TheSpeedslayer Have you ever played the older Socoms? Mag at least has handguns and not dual primaries. Look at the sales for the past three titles that bare the Socom name. It has only gotten worse since they have strayed away from what made Socom original. We hold onto the memories of Socom 2 because it is the foundation of what online shooters should be modeled after. Not just gameplay and maps but the whole community and communication aspect of it. It wasn't perfect but fun as hell to play.

@AKSKSMAN no, i have not played the older SOCOMs, but i love MAG to death and SOCOM4 is almost as fun as MAG. and a community is nothing that anyone can control except those in it, and that community that you are talking about seem to have ignored the existance of any SOCOM game outside 1, 2 and 3 without giving them a real chance. and whats wrong about everyone having dual primaries?

@TheSpeedslayer I thought MAG was a good game but don't you think it's messed up that some one in S4 can choose to have a heavy MG AND a sniper rifle and still sprint just as fast as some one with a sub MG and assault rifle? And the cover system is a camper's wet dream. I own S4 and think it's a good game with a lot of potential but the cover system has got to go in multi player. I believe the cover system is only implemented to make it easier for people (nerds and homos) to use the PS Move.

@AKSKSMAN people run what they prefer to run with, the guy with the heavy mg is fucked up close agianst the guy with the sub mg because it outpreformes it up close, zipper did a good job balancing the guns. and there is no perfect camping spot where you can just abuse the cover system and be covered from your flanks, zipper did a good job with the maps as well. the only time a camper in cover is a problem is in classic mode and its in classic mode where the cover system has to go.

I believe we all have but still keep getting let down by the developers that keep taking features and player abilities out of the core game that made the Socom series what it is (was). Man it seems so many people on the US servers used the IW. On the EU servers, at least the UK ones, no one used it, people were voted off if they did because everyone thought it was overpowered. Stuff like that made SOCOM great, the feeling of mutual enjoyment. No one was out to get a few quick kills, everyone played fair (apart from the occasional douche hacker of course). The community of SOCOM is what made it great, especially the lobbies. I'll never get to say g^ in S4 again :(

@sxyjavon You just don't get it, I could lose a whole weekend playing SOCOM 2, not just because of the game, which was unbelievable, but the community. The banter in the lobbies, the ability to write your own taunts, the teamkill respawn games which had everyone in hysterics, no open mics and you may not believe this, getting nervous before a clan match. All this has gone and this is why SOCOM vets cannot relate to SOCOM 4.
