  • i made a bunch of these and wore one toschool. got a bunch of compliments! thanks so much!!

  • this is so cute! i have short hair like she does, so it's hard getting accessories to look okay with it. and it's so easy, even i can do it! YAY!

  • easy and simple. i like it!

  • they look cuter on.

  • cute love it!

  • Cute!!! Thanks.

  • I once sold these headbands in the national day at school ,the colors were the 4 colors of my country's flag:)

  • Those are actually real cute.

  • her hair is f'in cute!

  • i useually hold my knot between my toes lol

  • so cute. I like that .Thanks

  • i always thought it was major bullshit that retail stores sold these things for 15 dollars a pop when i made these from tshirts i bought for 3 dollars each. you can also make them longer and thinner by tugging the strands of shirt into thinner rope like pieces.

  • HalloweenHottie911:

Which word would you prefer that she say??

  • you know what would be really cool to vamp that up? A more complicated braid, like a 5 or a 7 strand. Then you would have a thicker headband too.

  • awesome idea. haha thanks for posting this video!

  • So much better than Decor it, that girls bothers me. >.>

  • thats awesome!! I gotta try it!

  • 5 stars! lawl

  • LOL OMG AWESOME!!

  • ok i really like this idea, i have alot of old t shirst at home and different fabrics, i may just have to try this. Thanks :)

  • Good video.

  • wow she braids extremely fast :O

im going to make this :D

    yaay

  • Na, I can braid faster than that.

But what she does do fast, is tie knots!

holy crap, it was in her hand one second and then a second later a knot just kinda appeared!!

    INTERESTING......

  • let's get physical, physical...

  • Oh, yes, 80s are back, and Olivia looked fab with those things across her forehead, very sweaty.

  • Love the tut, but it could have been condensed.

  • ughhhhhh. don't we all know how to cut and braid. just saying

  • that's what i was thinking...common sense, maybe?

  • circusaroundtheworld - I think the idea is that it's a beginners project. It's nice to have a simple idea that doesn't involve sewing machines and patterns, it's all a bit daunting if you are just starting out.

We all got to start somewhere!

  • I suppose this would be a nice idea for crafting with your kids, personally I think I'm too old to be wearing a headband.

  • I like this idea, especially that I am highly acidic and sweat alot! Cotton is love!

  • does anyone remember the t-shirt competition?

i did exactly this idea then! :) its a cute idea haha

does anyone know how exactly we were meant to get that stuff was it just a bit of a fail in the end?

(p.s. i know its too late now but did everyone else get theirs? for future reference)

  • i didn't do that compitition, but earlier i won a box of thread, and it came in the mail. you could always email them about it

  • so cute! :D!

  • People who leave negative comments are the ones with the most grammatical errors. Your NOT the same as YOU'RE.

    Nice job, Tracy!

  • LOVE that little top she's wearing! Too cute!

  • great!!

  • too thick!!

  • Cute!

  • The headbands are so cute !

    Thanks for sharing :)

    Happy New Year !

  • Great idea! Happy new years!

  • that girl needs some better sheers!!

  • @MsBeBe3000

I was just thinking the SAME thing!

  • Awesome idea! I would have NEVER thought of doing that! And it is so easy! Thanks! Happy New Year Everyone!

  • very cute

  • love her jacket...if is diy, tutorial please please

  • Very cute :)

  • I think I had made something like this back in grade 4 at a craft event at school back in the 80s but I had totally forgotten that I knew how to do this until I saw this video. Ha.

  • lol I made mine by accident... lol

  • lovely jacket!

  • so cute!!

  • Joke for you all: How can you tell someone is a ThreadBanger without asking? They do not own a single intact Tshirt.

  • @ccm800

    haha. that's probly true...lol.

  • Hahaha!! No shirts with bottom seams, at least! Are there any project that use the collar or sleeves, seriously?

  • I take the sleeves and cut them into about 1/2 inch thick pieces and pull them tight and you can put jewelry on them, charms beads or leave them... then just pick a comfortable measurement around your wrist so that it can slip on and off.. just sew all ends together at the measurement you picked and cut off excess... new bracelet! :-D

  • they used to sell these little platic square looms that you could weave these little potholders on - with thelese loops of fabric that looked suspiciously like the hems of T sleeves.

  • they still do. those potholder looms are fun

  • I feel like I could of figured this out myself. I wish I had some extra t-shirts to actually do this, I would totally give them to all my friends.

  • Cool! Something you don't have to be 17 to wear!

  • so right!

  • do we really need a video on how to braid? and @ missmuffcake, it does look like a dog toy lol.

  • waste of my shirt >__>

  • too bad i don't have that curve in the back of my head, it's just flat down, so headbands can get super difficult.

normal ones that stop at ur ear sometimes even fall off

  • Sorry but this looks like a dog toy. Actually it looks like the dog toy featured in the 'generation t' book.

  • hahahaaaa.

    your right

  • It's really simple and cute! :) nice video, Tracy!

  • She says simple and simply a lot, but very cute. I'll probably do this. lol

  • the way she cuts it makes the fabric look choppy

  • this is so quick and easy, love it!

  • cool going to go make some right now!

  • cute and simple.. thanx

  • you guys already made a braid video, with decor it yoursef....:(
