You guys don't realize that only you can chose what you think is the best game for you. Silly! My favorite for PC is Mount&Blade: Warband which was probably made in Europe, I am not sure, but even though it seems cheap and has a couple bugs, it's totally open ended with many mods you can create on your own with knowledge of programming. I don't like any COD past 5. I would rather play the Battlefield series because I like working with squads on huge maps with tanks and aircraft on multiplayer.

I have Resonance of Fate and Vanquish. I enjoy playing games that are either indie or non-popular and hyped up! I'm not a sheep like the rest of the "gamers" out there (little kids) that only play whats in at the moment. I play games for storyline and artistic creativity... not a K/D ratio. Multiplayer isn't even fun.

The reason why Vanquished failed to sell realy badly was pretty much becuase it had no Multiplayer What so ever!

Sega did the very 'Sega' thing of releasing a game as soon as possible, without making it as good as they possibly could; if they spent a few more months on it to create a full online multiplayer system for Vanquish, theres pretty much no question that it would have been one of the best games of 2010.

Vanquish was fairly good, but it was so short. Only about 6 & a half hours for the campaign & no multiplayer. I think a lot of the people that actually did buy it, probably traded it in after a week.

Call of Duty has been the same game ever since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It's used the same game engine, and the developers just put in new weapons, sounds, and new characters to make it seem like a whole new experience. Shame it isn't, I really enjoyed the new experience Call of Duty 4, now the series is just dull remakes of the same game.

Bought Vanquish the day it came out, beat it, and it was awesome.

It only had two faults.

1: Could have been a bit longer.

2: The final upgrades for guns were lowered a level if you died.

Vanquish didn't get success because

1. New IP. And lots of people don't trust new IPs unfortunately.

2. Literally like no marketing...I saw zero adds last October or September or August, and I only was interested in it after I randomly downloaded it off PSN.

3. Terrible terrible time to release it. A week after Medal of Honor, Fallout New Vegas came out the same day, Halo Reach a few weeks before it, and Cod a few weeks after it. Yea great job.

I think Enslaved Oddysey to the West should have won this, I played Vanquish and I got bored just playing the demo it's so rubbish, it feels like a fast paced Lost Planet but it's just so repetitive and 'lifeless', no feel to it =/
