@puzzlesmc I am sending this from my iPod so I do not know if it tagged you. But you can use PLL and OLL to solve the last layer in 2 algorithms. Only It requires a lot of algorithms to learn. You can get 'CubeApp' for a dollar on the app store. It is very good. I use it. Or you can go learn tutorials on YouTube.

Now there are ppl wr holder that just come up with there own method of doing it. But for most ppl your way just makes sence. What I cant understand is how a lot of speed fibers can look ahead so fast I usually take at lest 3seconds between f2l cases wich is horrible I know I just can't seem to go any faster then that A

The Jessica method is a very clever method. With other methods people lose time in the last layer trying to recognize patterns, with the method of Jessica this is very easy to do.

I used to solve the last layer in two steps: 1. permutatation and orientation of edges; 2. permutation and orientation of corners;

I can say that the Jessica method is much better: 1. orientation of corners and edges; 2. permutation of corners and edges.
