  • think its bad in san diego? just try being a cleveland sports fan the catch, red right 88, the drive, the fumble, the shot, the relocation of the cleveland browns the 2 world series the indians lost, the decision it's nowhere near as bad in san diego at least you guys have been to a super bowl and besides the san diego drought (47 years) is only one year longer than cleveland's (46 years)

  • You left out the Chargers getting blown out in the '94 Super Bowl, when Jerry Rice and Steve Young set a bunch of Super Bowl records on them.

  • just saying, the chargers are never going to win anything with that choker like nate keading, i respect san diego and all but its the truth. and hopefully the chargers and padres can wil a championship sooner or later

  • After this past season it looks like the Aztecs are no longer part of the curse. The Padres, however, will always be cursed so long as their owners treat them like a farm team.

  • 201o padres seson is a perfect example of the san diego sports curse

  • I know how you feel I'm from Cleveland

  • Don't forget Drew Brees breaking New Orleans curse. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! Just watch L.T. guide the Jets to the Superbowl they win this year if we have an NFL season. HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! FUCK SAN DIEGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What was the spied calls about? And I see that this video was done in 09, so another one should be added. Drew Brees an SD scapegoat wins the SB for the Saints.

  • Chargers and padres Losers forever! o.o

  • i feel thankfulwe didnt draft eli he isnt better than rives..yes he won a super cowl but does that make trent dilfer better than dan marino

  • '83 NFL Draft. Chargers had 3, yes 3 picks in the first round(5, 20 & 22). We drafted Billy Ray Smith(5), Gary Anderson(20) & Gill Byrd(22). OK Smith and Byrd had long good careers with the Bolts, but Anderson went to the USFL for 3 years before signing with the BOLTS. "Then who?", you ask. "With the 27th pick, Miami Dolphins select QB from Pitt, DAN MARINO" Fouts was still playing, but we should've planned ahead instead of waiting for Fouts to retire. Oh well what can you do? "GoBolts!!!"

  • you should probebly add this years San Diego Padres, they collapsed to the giants and the giants eventually won the world series, idk if the padres would of won it all had they been in the postseason but still, it sucks

  • Add Padres collapse. I wanna die sometimes watching my teams fail year in year out.

  • @Gerren25 It would be a total Bitch if THE RAIDERS make it to the Super Bowl and win it!!!!

  • @rando714 If that happened, I would cry myself to sleep.

  • @rando714 LOL Ooooh it will happen =) Don't cry when we win our 4th one baby

  • @DrunkenRaiderz Why would i cry I'm a Raider Fan...

  • I hate Marlon McCree, Eric Parker, and Drayton Florence

  • @initiatorhater0688 My Fav Chargers!!!! Raider Nation!

  • Came here to basically visit the virtual San Diego Sports grave. R.I.P 2010 Padres Playoff hopes. This is getting old.

  • Drafting Ryan Leaf wasn't all that bad because without him we wouldn't of sucked so bad and been rewarded the first overall pick in 2001, which we traded to Atlanta and in return caught lighting in a bottle by getting Arguably the most beloved and greatest athlete in San Diego LT.

  • Someone pleas explain to me how the snowball game is part of a curse. The Chargers won that game and it got them in the playoffs.

  • So who/what CAUSED the curse, for the uninformed?

  • San Diego and Cleveland NEVER get the break we DESERVE!!!

  • also don't forget the city of Buffalo, the Bills losing 4 straight Super Bowls, one of them from a missed kick that went "Wide Right" and they lost by the score 20-19, and the infamous "No Goal" from the 1999 Stanley Cup Finals

  • @nobodysperfect06

True Actually, I think Buffalo was hit the hardest. How do you lose all four Super Bowls?

  • @nobodysperfect06

Yeah, I think Buffalo was hit the hardest. How do you lose 4 straight Super Bowls? (and the Cowboys losses weren't even close)

  • and they got killed by the Redskins, but they really should have beaten the Giants, the Bills were the favorite, and the Bills missed some crucial tackles, and the Giants dominated time of possesion. Also, fuck Marlon McCree and Drayton Florence, Eric Parker, they completely handed that game to the Patrtiots when the Chargers went 14-2 in the regular season, Marty Schottenheimer's last year.

  • @nobodysperfect06

    Yeah, u right

  • if only Marlon McCree had just fallen down, gotten down on the ground after picking off Tom Brady, there was like 6 minutes left in the game, the Chargers could have easily run out the clock in that game, the Chargers were leading 21-13

  • @nobodysperfect06

if only he fell down, if only the chargers didn't throw 2 pics against the jets in 2010, if only the chargers didn't give up 35 points against the steelers in 2009, if only the chargers could get in the endzone against the Patriots in 2008, if ONLY the chargers could win in the playoffs EVER, we wouldn't be in this mess of STILL(50 years and counting) of looking for a ring. And if that doesn't convince we are cursed.

  • type in Buffalo Curse, search for it on YouTube, there is a video similiar to this one, and in my opinion, that one is sadder, it it playing very sad backround music

  • the video is titled "Buffalo Curse"

  • @Chargerdude95 that one pick in the jets game that revis caught was no ordinary pick... noone picks it off vincent jackson like that ever, so therefore, we are cursed.

  • this will end in 2010 when the bolts go 14-2 and win their first superbowl

  • @charger619c You dumb ass fans never learn, that your team sucks...

  • There will come a day my San Diego sports fan, stay classy San Diego

  • I wonder which city will end their Sports Curse first? Cleveland, Buffalo, or San Diego?

  • @nobodysperfect06 my thought is that cleveland will be first

  • @nobodysperfect06 San Diego by farrrrrrr

  • As a Hometown Fan: What a curse san diego... What A Curse. i dont know what we did to deserve Such Diasteerous Sports Moments, even counting the 2nd loss to the jets... all we Get are individual recognition (EX: LT Breaking records), Buh No Chip No Nada. =(

  • I know what you mean. My Grandpa was a die-hard padres fan. I'm very upset he didn't live long enough to see them win a world series. Its crazy man. I still can't get over the Jets loss. I visit this video way too much for my own good. Being a SD sports fan isn't good for you mental health.

  • How there are no Aztec "highlights" here is beyond me.

  • I don't know many Aztec or Torrero cursed moments so if anyone is willing to help me (just send me links to pictures, videos, and stats of actual moments), i'll make a video in the future with those.

  • Here's one: Aztec's lose Round 1 of the NCAA 2010 tournament because the referees "volunteered" to help Tennessee win.

  • Now we can add the recent divisional playoff game against Jets! just great! :(

  • need to update this video T_T

  • I fuckin' hate Marlon McCree even to this day, he is the Steve Bartman for the San Diego Chargers, we all know what Steve Bartman did for the Chicago Cubs.

  • @nobodysperfect06 Marlon just loved to hit ppl, Clinton hart is who we should hate the most for always intercepting the ball, attempting the run and then carelessly fumbling it.

  • yeah but the San Diego Chargers could have won that playoff game in 2006 if all Marlon McCree did was get down on the ground after picking off Tom Brady, or swat the ball away since it was 4th down for the Patriots when it happend.

  • @nobodysperfect06 yea, definetly true.

  • I liked the video but why did you include the snowball game? That was a great game - Chargers had to win to keep their playoff hopes alive and won.

  • And yet you listen to tha dogg pound?

  • Nine-teen-sixty-three *clap* *clap* *clap clap clap*

  • I'm surprised Raider, Bronco, and Chief fans don't chant that.

  • God really hates our sports teams. At this rate, the Chargers will relocate to Los Angeles or wherever to get their rings.

  • It happened to Cleveland, and it will sadly probably happen to us.

  • Cleveland, San Diego, and Buffalo are the most cursed, tortured Sports cities in America.

  • Disgusted...pls update!!

  • I'm on it, but I'm making a new one straight from scratch, and I'm pretty busy right now so it will take awhile.

  • And with the loss to the Jets, the curse turns 47. Thanks a lot Norv Turner and Nate Kaeding. I'm going to need to make a new video.

  • I'll never forgive Antonio Cromartie.

We let a New York team come in our house and shut us down. We are like the East coast media pundits wet dream with our disappointments.

I wish we could of made things happen for LT and the legacy of the Coryell system.

  • don't forget Marlon McCree and Drayton Florence in the 2006 playoff game against the Patriots in which the Patriots won 24-21. Drayton Florence committed a personal foul by head-butting a Patriots player and resulted in a 15-yard penalty, he was only caring and thinking about himself in that game instead of both him and his teammates. Also when Marlon McCree fumbled Tom Brady's Interception on the 5th yard line.

  • It's there. It's the Classless Act.

  • I wish so too, but you know God hates San Diego Sports.

  • I will also never forgive Drayton Florence for that personal foul head-butting penalty in the game against the Patriots 4 years ago in the playoffs, Marlon McCree for the fumbled interception, and it was on 4th down, and Eric Parkers muffed punt, he picked it up and ran with it and then fumbled it again.

  • At least your city has nice weather!!!

  • This is sad. Chargers still rule.

  • I seriously hate the former Chargers player Marlon McCree, he is the reason why the Chargers lost in the Playoffs to the Patriots in January 2007, which was Marty Schottenheimer's last year as Head Coach with the Chargers

  • Wow, see I was born in 1988, so I'm a young San Diego sports team fan. I never knew we had the Rockets or Clippers?!! I always wondered why we didn't have a basketball team. I've been reading up on the Coryell Chargers and have to say this is very unfortunate. I hope this year's team makes it far. LT DESERVES A RING. As for the Padres, I really miss Bruce Bochy's 98 team...Ken Cam..

  • As much as I hate LT and the Chargeless, LT does deserve a ring. The problem with getting a ring out here is that the players are spoiled. They're no where near as focused as they should be. Look at the latest incident with Cromartie. I'm certainly not going to judge the guy without knowing all facts but it makes one wonder, what the hell was he doing at a PB bar during the middle of the season. The Chargeless are handed the division on a silver platter every year because of shitty oponents.

  • This truly makes me cry.

  • Man that was ugly.

    since 1963.

BTW, Stabler didn't kill the Chargers in 1980, that was Plunkett.

The Raiders ironically had to beat him in Houston, in the first round that year.

  • you forgot to add when we fired marty after a 14-2 seasons.

    why did we do that?

anyway we are going to the super bowl

  • As much as I hate anti-chargers, I have to agree. We do have a lot of Band-Wagon fans, but so did Green Bay of the the late 90's. One of my best friends became a Band-Wagon Packer fan who is from San Diego, and now he's a Band-Wagon eagles fan as well. Too many people give up on this City. A lot of people who are the fair-weather fans are usually business migrants, or people who constantly relocate.

  • Very fair comment, DieVersity. I'll be the first to admit that I'm a bandwagon fan(family history that I won't get into right ow)of the Packers from the early-mid 90's. The thing is, I'm a football fan before I'm a Packer fan and now ex-Favre fan(as long as he's a Benedict Arnold). I jumped on the bandwagon after growing up a Bears fan living in Chicago and I've NEVER jumped off. Alot few people say I've given up on my Packers this year. The thing is, I'm a realist.

  • Packers/Rodgers are plkayin' pretty damn good today but their also playin' the Lions. The Packers are a dark horse who MAY buttfuck their way into the playoffs only to go one and done. I've noticed that ALOT of Chargeless fans only aspire the team to win the division. Winning the division is nice and all but it's Lombardi that ALL teams aspire to gain. I want my team to hoist that trophy every year. Fuck the division. A division winner doesn't mean shit without that trophy.

  • LOL. Hell, I can't lie. I loved the Broncos of the late 90's too, but also for the fact Terrell Davis went to the High School my mom and brother went to (Lincoln High School in SD). I wonder what happened to Griese. Anyways, I don't blame you for the Farve scenario. You think he'd retire as a Packer, but eh. I hope LT doesn't do the same thing with the Chargers. But yes, a lot of Charger fans are fair-weather. For example: A lot of Charger Fans became Raiders fans in 2001 - obvious reasons

  • I wasn't living out here in SD at the time the Raiders won their last SB but I could see alot of Chargeless fans becoming turncoats. I think half the battle has to do with the fact that there's ALOT of transplants like myself and to the fact that this is a resort town. My biggest beef with SD fans is their cockiness. That blows me away. I'm all for shit talking and team pride but it's like, "C'mon man!"

  • I'll be the first Chargeless hater to come on the forums and give the Chargeless the respect they'll deserve if they ever make it all the way.

  • umm i dont know about you guys but uhh i smell a word series for the padres :)

  • mostly los angeles or colorado teams gave san diegans the worst moments lol

  • LOL my rockies and broncos have been giving them shit for a while

  • gugh...i cant believe i just sat through a slideshow of all of my worst memories.

but thanks for including the fact that eli manning won a superbowl. it seemed like everyone was so bent on the patriots losing that we all forgot eli came out the winner, which blows.

i have to say what makes me cringe most is the end of the padres 2007 season. that was our best team since 98 and we had a chance to go far against a weak playoff field. unbleievable...still. damn that tim mclelland!

  • Look at the bright side at least the Chargers are getting to the playoffs now, but I think the Padres won't get better till the economy gets back on track.

  • the curse will be broken when we least expect it......piss.....2010..super..bowl..champions

  • @mhassan010 Keep day dreaming buddy. That will NEVER happen.

  • @mhassan010 ULTRA EPIC FAIL....

  • Not a San Diego Sports fan, but boy that sucks man.

  • this curse is worst than the cubs or redsox. atleast they have a world championship from 100 yrs ago.

This video makes the Raiders/Broncos look like gods.(not the chiefs).

So everyone who is fired or rejects SD has a great life. Everyone who stays near SD has a bad career. Marti Ball firing, means that whomever hires him is likely to win a SB(since SD fired him) so everyone needs to go after this future SB champ.

LT is getting up in age and soon he will hang it up without a ring.

  • *sigh*

  • I know

  • Being a San Diego Sports Fan Sucks man. I feel like giving up rooting for these guys.

  • Yeah me too. But keep the faith. The curse will be broken someday.
