Paella means three things: the dish made from chicken and rabbit, the flat frying pan, and it is also an event as shown in this video. "We are having a paella on Sunday," means you are having an event in which this iconic Spanish rice dish is the guest of honor. ¡Buen provecho, todos!
No I am not American and I have eaten a good number of fabulous paellas in Spain... They involved all sorts of vegetables, various types of seafood, chicken, (also rabbit or spicy sausage some of them- yumm) Safron, Fish or chicken stock...
I also happened to cook at a number of restaurants... I apologize if I offended you - The comment came out so fast - it was a gut response...
@DRISHANA1 What are you? American? If you haven't tried it then you just don't get it. It's frigging delicious. It puts risotto to shame and the flavors come from whatever you put it it. Anything from chicken and seafood to sausage.
This was an AWESOME video of how it's done in large quantity...these guys are amazing...loved this video...!!!...
Can you film different people making paella and post those videos too...?...It would be great to see how the people of the villages homes do their paella... ;)))
