I was so pissed at Gwen for cheating on Rhys with Owen of all people. Then of course Rhys, his memory erased of Gwen's confession, started acting like a control freak and I gave up on him. As a guy, there's no excuse for treating a lady like that. If you're angry with her for cheating, either go for a walk, get over it and forgive her or leave. Then again, i also know that us guys do stupid things sometimes and say things we don't mean. I guess I can't be too hard on him.
@surfer53 I think a lot of Rhys' anger and the way he was with Gwen, came from a sense of helplessness. I mean, how long had she been lying to him? She even lied in the first episode about being at that murder...why?? She was a cop...what was there to lie about then?
If the trust is shaky? It'll drive a person crazy...but I would have loved to have seen Rhys leave her. After everything he put up with, he was too good for her if you ask me. :) But thanks for watching. lol ;)
@Angelustatt You can tell a lot about a person the way they act when nobody is watching. LOL I read the synopsis somewhere. She cheated to "cope with the rigours of her job." Um...okay so every time ur under stress you treat ur bf or gf like a piece of shit? Fantastic.
@surfer53 What's always gotten me about Countrycide?? She chose that case as her "excuse" for cheating with Owen because she couldn't talk to Rhys? What a load of crap! They dealt with humans for once...it was the one case she could have opened up to Rhys about...instead of running to Owen. Not to mention she tends to treat Rhys like he's an idiot....nice way to be with the guy who loves you despite how often your not home. lol
@Angelustatt Part of it is that she's a girl and he's a guy. Women are allowed to treat men like dirt. The women at my work tell me I'm genetically inferior because I'm male. The other problem is that Rhys is a pudgy guy. People psychology think you're weak and not in control if you're overweight. Like you made a choice to eat too much.

Neither gender is inferior...we each have our strengths, which is what makes for a partnership between the sexes. And as for Rhys? I find his "pudginess" attractive. He's a big built guy...and for me? That offers strength and security.. Society is too quick to judge these days...we're all supposed to be airbrushed model material. *shakes head*
