It has gone back to the true soap romances. Philip is back, Shayne is with Dinah and Crystal Chapell and Jessica Leccia are knocking their scenes outta the park, the show has gotten better. New writers have truly helped, perhaps you should watch again. Oh and Harley is gone, and Philip might be back with Beth soon.

the only talent that kim has is being able to bully thw writers&producers. think about it: everytime josh(or bud)started getting a hot storyline with another female, that female is turned in a vixen for the almighty reva to come and save the day:sonny was a good girl turned vixen, and annie being turned into a vixen was one of the most ridiculous character switches ever. even olivia almost suffered the same fate, but her underrated acting ability saved her from being another zimmer-ego victim

It all comes down to the bottom line, CBS has that "old lady" demographic & advertisers dont find CBS soaps useful for marketing. Sure CBS soaps are usually tops in the neilsons, but most are old women who have been watching for years. In the 18-59 age demographic, GH, AMC & DOOL are top rated. I found out GH gets most money from advertisers. Companies dont want to market to CBS crowd, sad but true. dont believe me? Watch daytime emmys, listen to the HUGE applauds for GH,AMC, DOOL vs. CBS soaps
