Bryan and Carmen are teaching very well a very good what Samba is suppose to be. Anyone can take a dance and do something else with it and I've looked at the Samba de Gafieira and it seems to be some kind of Samba mixed with acrobatic move. If people want to learn about international Samba, this series is GOOD!

The music is not samba. The dance is not samba. They are very good dancers but unfortunately American culture ignores the culture of other countries. Want to know what is samba? search on youtube for "Samba de Gafieira" and will see several examples.

There are different types of samba, i.e. Brazilian samba, ballroom, and international samba. This ballroom samba. Double check your knowledge before making any comment and using the word "ignore".
