everybody has their way of throwing a football not everyone is going to have what seems to be "perfect" mechanics. Brett Favre doesn't always have the perfect mechanics on every throw but that guy gets the job done just watch his throw versus the 49ers the game winner from last year.

horrible... first thing, he doesnt even take the snap right, 2nd horrible drop back, 3rd i agree with "redsam888" he doesnt even display the proper grip, 4th if you constantly use that trowing motion youll mess your elbow up, instead of throwing it inline with your ear, you should take the ball and come thumb down and over the top of your shoulder, 5th and probably final thing, he doesnt put any empasis on the release of the ball, the wrist and fingers are 80% of the pass itself!

dude, you are wrong about taking it in your right hand...you should be having both hands on the ball before throwing the ball. beacuse, you don´t want to have the ball that open if the defence gets trough. so if you hold it with both hands you have the ball much safer in your hands than you would have while holding it with one hand, the rookie QB should learn that from the beginnig so that it´s always in his head =)

Dude I play quarterback and I found that there are many different ways to throw a football that has helped me out. This peronally looked terrible. I can throw a football 5o+ yards and hit my target Accurately. To me the style of the throw is not the key, but the accuracy is.

Im a quarterback and everything he showed would help anyone who is learning to throw the football, keeping your toes in line with your target, using your hips,squaring your body to the target, and having a good follow through as well as having a good grip on the football is all you need to perfect in throwing the football.
