  • Amazing ride! except for the beginning when you're going up slowly and you can only look at the ground!

  • Well I had to cancel my Sea World pass to save money... I will miss this ride though.

  • great theme for a coaster

  • Best ride ever!

  • Im going in June, because I won a free front-of-the-line pass and a free picture afterward for this ride. On a scale of one to ten, how good is it? And about the british thing, i agree with junk4ucrew

  • HA! i rode that today and it was soooooooooo fun i loved it i was gunna get on kraken i was like the next to get on kraken and they closed it because of the weather...65 min wait...

  • goooo its fun =]

  • its so cool go! I went on it two weeks ago and I went on it like 5 times [[:

It's not scary at all, as long as you don't close your eyes. You REALLY feel lke you're flying! So much fun!

  • This explains the tree that was taped to the top of the track. it was in the video description:

Signaling the attainment of the highest structural element of the construction of a building or other structure, a tree topping ceremony is a tradition traced back as far as 700 A.D. In the steel trade, the ceremonial evergreen is a symbol of good luck and an announcement that the construction has officially reached the sky.

  • Wow ,, this looks cool :)

Im Going to orlando in june :)

Will it be open by then ? Haha :)

    XxxX

  • yep opens in may, im going in june too

  • If it wasnt for us "British Faggots" coming to orlando most people in the area would be jobless. We save your arses idiot.

  • I'm not sure, but I've seen them on other constructions, such as buildings. I THINK, it may represent the highest point or part on a construction.

  • cant waitt,, wtf wuts up wit the tree?

  • i dont know why, but thats what they always do with the "topping" of a coaster. they have the american flag and a sort of tree, i think it symbolises something.

  • the funny thing is, is that the tree fell down not long after this, i work at journy to atlantis(right next to kraken) i was there when it happend.

  • haha.........so much for good luck!!!

  • cant wait...going back in september, i live in london england n we have crap rides compared 2 america

  • EVERYWHERE had crap rides compared to america, haha lol. but england does have some really good coasters

  • omg i CAN NOT wait to ride that! kraken's fun, but c'mon after riding it like 40 times, it gets kinda...not fun lol, manta's gonna be the SHITT! But, y is there a flag and a tree on it?

  • Read the FULL description of this video and you'll get your answer as to why there is a tree on top of it.

  • Good. Kraken was starting to get repetitive.

  • I have always wondered how they build roller coasters..=)

  • Oh this is going to be awesome! This would be my first face-down roller coaster! I'm so excited!!!

  • I think its actually a flying coaster, but it is still going to be awesome.

  • lol im from australia and theres a sea world here so i got confused so next time can you say if its in australia of where that sea world is....

    thanks

  • US - Florida

  • oh no. the parks in australia suck. i live here and theres no way they'd be able to get B&M build a coaster in australia, they only build coasters in good places and i can assure how that australia had the smallest amount of coasters in the world and some of the worst

  • it was a freaking nightmare working on this damn thing.the funny thing about the flag and tree is shortly after putting them up, the tree fell off

  • I live in orlado so I'M hoping to rideit.

  • i want to move there

  • sea world is finally atracting coaster riders to seaworld and not just alot of kides that want to look at animals all day

  • i agree with you.

when i went to there, besides kraken and journey to atlantis, i missed some thriller :/

  • yeah i kno

sea world is a hit or miss with some people

    with me its a miss

  • ya well go see these fuckin animals everyday do you? go to a zoo which are all around the U.S. there are only three of these parks and screw coasters. ya there cool but the main part of this park is to educate.

  • im not saying "screw the animals"

im sayin that can make more money attracting both crowds: thrill junkies and animal lovers

ive learned lots about animals when i went to SW

  • Agreed. The magic of Shamu was intense as well as the thrill of the Kraken. Seaworld is just getting better and better. It's exciting! I can't wait. Now they'll have coasters AND animals...

  • haha yeah

    i love both of them

they have a lot of competiton with universal and disney being a little up yonder :D

  • But they're starting to even out...

  • yeah thats good

    even chance

but we all kno families are goin to go to disney

maybe if all the themeparks were new the orlando area

  • i get to see this coaster everyday, mainly cause i work for the company thats putting it up

  • You work for B&M?! Sweet!

  • that is very cool, what is the best coaster you believe you guys have created?

  • Um, no. He doesn't work for B&M. He works for the rigging contractor they contracted out, probably. B&M designes and manufactures their coasters, they don't install them.

  • i am fully aware of that. and i just fully understood it.

  • This is very exciting, can,t wait to go back to Florida next year.

  • i work right by it!

  • Man im goin the first day this opens!

  • Can't wait till media day when it opens. When is the track layout going to be released?

  • congrats guys!! I've been keeping tabs on Manta since you first blocked some of the park for construction. I can't wait 'till next year!

  • when does it open casue im goin for spring break

  • It probably won't be done until Summer, as a guess.

  • Busch Entertainment Co which owns all the Sea World and Busch Gardens Parks as well as several water parks generally opens their new rides in the spring, usually around May or June.

  • Summer 2009.

  • I'll hope so it's open in may 2009, then i'm going to orlando!!
