Also for anyone asking befor you even consider this you need about 8k to play with, I went with a used motor but some people opt for a new crate. the cost can vary but 8k is a good starting point and if you can do the work yourself it can get cheeper but if not it can get more expensive.

@3CVETTE Yes everything can be done EXACTLY the same on the 81 exept one thing. the 81 does not have a intake eletric fuel pump. You need to get a 82 corvette sending unit, and mount a 4th gen f-body pump on it to get the 50psi needed. I have a entire build thread if you want to see it
