  • @legodot77

    Thank you :D

  • Pretty good.....I suggest you ease in and ease out a little bit more in your animation though.

  • @anteater201studios

Agreed. I assume you've seen FancyPant's videos :D He made a tutorial about easing in and out. Definitely makes animation look more realistic.

  • =)

  • awesome made!!

  • @JohnStudiosVideo

    Thank you :D

  • Wow, how did you make the yellow piece float up at the end? Did you use a wire? I am a kid so I'd love to know.

  • @AwesomeCruzFamily

Actually, I used a program called Bafran to do that. Basically you have two pictures and you erase out the part you don't want shown. Just google bafran and you'll find it. FYI, it's a German program. Have fun :D

  • Ok one more question...do my questions annoy you?

  • @HiFiveGuy11

No, I don't mind at all. Ask away!

  • @FilmsByDan how did this come to you? PS i like how you answer everyone's questions

  • @HiFiveGuy11

Well, to answer your question... :D My mom and I were on a walk through our neighborhood and she came up with the idea that I could have this dandelion that was really hard to kill. The ways he tries to get rid of it were basically made up as I made the movie. I just thought of ideas and then synched them to the music :D

  • Awesome!

  • Funny!

  • That was exellent! I love how music and animation are working together!

  • Comment removed

  • very amazing job, great animation.

  • @masterbuilder71

    Thanks!

  • another question sorry if im bothering u but what did u click where did u go what did u get?

  • @StellaLunathedoggy

Just google "Kevin MacLeod", click on "Incompetech" (which should be the first one), towards the top you will see "Royalty Free Music" click on this. You can then look at his music by genre, feel, etc. Also, there's a link called "Is this music free to use?" When you find a song you like, just hit download ;D

  • credit as in good job at this? or credit as in credit card!!!

  • @StellaLunathedoggy

Credit as in attributing him with the credit for making the music. It's 100% free to use. On his website he explains the ways you can give him credit for the pieces you use in your films.

  • where did u get this music?

  • @StellaLunathedoggy

From Kevin MacLeod's website incompetech. He has a lot of free music. All you have to do is give him credit :D

  • A verry good brickfilm!! I like!!

  • @CloneObi

    Thank you :D

  • @FilmsByDan and one person doesn't like your brickfilm :(

  • @CloneObi

Yes, and I don't know why! lol, I guess I can't please everyone, but I can try :D Btw, thanks for subbing!

  • Did any one notice the grass gets bigger when he moes?

  • wow that really was a good vid! like the concept of it!

  • смешное видео,классная идея с газоном

  • @tryp14

    спасибо :D

  • This is brilliant! How long did it take to film and edit? I subscribed :)

  • @masha72981

Thanks for subbing! I really appreciate it :D I think it took about a month and a half to make. Of course I wasn't working on it continuously through that time, but there was about a week where I was spending most of my day filming and editing this film.

  • That was wonderful! I loved the music as the conflict grew more intense! Fantastic job!

  • @DerkMiester

    Thanks!

  • @FilmsByDan Did you compose the music after the animation, or did you animate with the music in mind so that you were able to edit it to its rhythm?

  • @DerkMiester

I didn't make the music. It was composed by Kevin MacLeod. Therefore, I animated while using the music to keep me in sync.

  • @FilmsByDan Well congrats on doing a great job of keeping the filming in sync with the music. =)

  • @DerkMiester

    Thank you very much =D

  • Wow great video! how did you make the car?

  • @megaham4

The car was actually a set that I bought from LEGO. They still sell it. It's called Street Speeder. Anyways, glad you like the video :D

  • this is awesome!!! I loved it! DUN DUN DUN!

  • @luckybunny91

    Thank you :D

  • Finally man

  • this is excellent!! one of the first lego films i've really enjoyed ^_^

  • @DaveHProductions

    Thank you sooo much!

  • I'm so glad they made those topics, or I wouldn't have found this! Great work!

  • @gwhizkids

    :D thank you!

  • One person is odd - they don't like this

  • Nice one!

  • @jackograinge999

    Thanks ;D

  • How do you make the END??

  • @pedrohorchulhack

Well, it's just normal animation. I used flat pieces and regular bricks to make the words disappear. I'm unsure of your question so if I didn't answer it, please be more specific in what you want to know :D

  • what animating software do you use?

  • @surferdude7474

For taking the actual pictures I use a program that came with my Canon DSLR. It doesn't have helpful features like onion skinning, but it's all I have right now. For editing, I use Pinnacle Studio Version 12. I wouldn't recommend it. I've heard good things about Sony Vegas, although I've never tried it myself.

  • This deserves more views THUMBS UP IF U AGREE!

  • Awesome, great animation !

  • That was pretty awesome. loads of ideas and all of them worked. top draw

  • @slycooperfan240

Glad you enjoyed it! I just switched LEGO heads for the face changes. The armor was from an old set. I think it was some diver set. I can't remember.

  • @FilmsByDan I just showed this to my neighbor. He says: "That was tight yo!"

Lol Yeah, i knew you switched heads. (that sounds weird. lol) I mean where did you get heads from?

  • @slycooperfan240

The first one was a Star Wars head. Second one I got off of Lego.com. The last one was the astronauts head from the new series 1 minifigures.

  • @FilmsByDan Oh, cool! Thanks! :D

  • Oh man that was excellent! I should've watched that a long time ago, that was just great. I can see how much time it took for just the animation of putting "the end." Everything in here was great! 5/5, and I clicked the like button ;).
