**I have a VERY important question and it would be very helpful if someone could answer. I have the PM5 and it seems when I make a video my moving appears slower than my talking. It really bugs me, like I can't even watch the videos without only paying attention to that problem. If anybody knows how to fix this, PLEASE ANSWER. Thanks!

Thanks for this review! I was checking out this camera today in the store and the guy had no clue if it used a wide angle lense or not. Since i wanted to use mine as a webcam, i want a super wide angle on mine. This product is absolute crap it appears.

What he said about the lens and the low light recording on the PM5 is very true. You will find yourself having to constantly stand away from your subject and only getting optimal recording on a sunny day. The only difference being the focus on close shots can be fixed by just using a pair of reading glasses or a magnifying glass in front of the PM5 and presto you now have a CM5 + saving yourself some cash in the process.

Why does it show a mirror image when you turn the lens around? So when your recording yourself, you're looking at your mirror reflection on the screen.

It's terrible in the dark but in good lighting the image looks amazing.. but I am having major annoyance because i went to record a song today with me playing guitar and after about 30 seconds it starts recording out of sync so my lips will be moving 1 or 2 seconds before the sound..

I've boycotted all Sony products that use MemoryStick, a failed and unpopular format from the start. Did Sony not learn from the Beta vs VHS war? Not only is MS unpopular, but it also costs more than SD for the same capacity. And SD comes in smaller sizes, MiniSD and MicroSD. Worst, you get less usable space because of their MagicGate copy protection, which Sony advertises as a benefit, when in fact, it only benefits recording companies like Sony -- and can cause compatibility problems.

The Bloggie isn't durable for 2 reasons:

1) The swivel lens came from Sony's NX-80 PDA. I've owned 3 NX-80s and the lens all broke within months. Ebay shows that most of the used NX80's have broken cameras.

2) The USB arm failed easily on The Flip and it's no better here. Sony's promo video shows a Bloggie suspended in the USB port, unsupported . That can break the USB port. The arm is irreplaceable while a USB cord is 99 cents on ebay. The Vado's retractable cord is a better idea.

I find that the Kodak Zi8 has the same problem in the 1080p format in that it crops out a bit of the picture. If you're vlogging then you need to hold the camcorder even farther away and then just looks funny!!!

If you want to make a recording that requires gaps in between various scenes, you've got to stop and start, which means you end up with several seperate short movies, instead of being able to pause the recording and resume. A pretty big ommision on an otherwisegreat wee camera in my opinion.
