Humans are free creatures that need to connect with other people and other things, but prisons restrict your ability to connect which takes the humanity right from you.

I agree for a part, it is good that there is a reduction in crime. But sharia has one major flaw, and that is that any Imam can call a fatwa. For example, women cannot drive in Saudi Arabia because of such a fatwa. Although the idea of those fatwa's is to keep sharia up to modern times, it is has gotten out of hand. I live in a muslim country where we donot practice sharia law. Mobile snatching is common. I am afraid to carry cash with me. Theifs and robbers if caught get a few years sentence at most and then again get to work - stealing on getting out of jail. They are having peace of mind . while i always live in fear. Regarding Middle Eastern prisons, I can say one thing that what Middle Eastern prisons do openly to the prisoners in an open way, while countries like USA, EU do it secretly. I agree for a part, it is good that there is a reduction in crime. But sharia has one major flaw, and that is that any Imam can call a fatwa. For example, women cannot drive in Saudi Arabia because of such a fatwa. Although the idea of those fatwa's is to keep sharia up to modern times, it is has gotten out of hand. Also the Koran says that women are equal, while the sharia law does not. It really shows that sharia has taken a bit of its own form.

In Islam cutting hand is not the immediate punishment of stealing. The circumstances is the important to give that punishment. Although stealing was happened series of justifications must be brought before that punishment. More over in Islam there is no punishment for stealing food for hungry.

Ok, first of all if you don't understand the whole thing, God sent his only " Son " , now don't take it literally.. God sent down his spirit to live a man's life to go through what He had planned as a gift for mankind to be able to enter His kingdom through the blood of " Son " .
