At some parts there's to much going on on guitar. Good vocals and drums. Drums aren't exactly right but these are also badass lol. Bass is either wrong or out of tune. Keep practicing it! Good job :)

well very hard to explain drum parts in words, but you hit the bass drum on 1 and 1+ and the snare on 2 when there should only be a bass note on 1. basically the bass drum is hit only to accent the 4 chords the guitars play. then you do the flam on the snare too soon, it actually doesnt come till after the snare/mounted tom fill. theres a few extra bass notes and some missing. listen closely to the track and compare to what you played and you can hear it easily.

Infact, fair enough. I've noticed you are a strokes cover band. Thought you might be into doing your own stuff. Fair enough that you play the song exactly the same. Also, there were a few bum notes in the video. Wouldve thought you wanted to correct them before posting.

we are not a strokes cover band..we have our own stuff but we just dont post it...we play the song exactly the same so people can actually compare it to the original song...lastly, this was our first and only take of the song we dont need 100 takes to make it sound perfect

Thats because we made it our own and didn't just copy the whole song off the strokes. It is much better in quality and the singing is better. I'm not saying you guys are bad...its jsut you ripped the song 100% without changing anything and making it your own. Do you have a myspace?

He should stop strumming when he's not playing any of the triads during the verse, and when he is strumming, he may want to think about adding some emotion. He's playing the chorus wrong, tell him to man up and play barre chords, they are really easy.

He should also bend in tune on the lead guitar chorus part.

He should generally just practice more.

Hey man! thanks for your post, nice cover guys, the sound is pretty good, the voice is a little low though, and you should get a singer, it makes things a lot easier. Good drummer, but he should review 1:00 and 2:15, im the drummer of my band so I know every song by heart :) thats all man! keep it up, and we just uploaded a full video of soma, slow version though
