In the end, Tohru chooses Kyo. Yuki loves her because of her 'motherly presence' but then later falls in love with Machi. Tohru loves Kyo, then Kyo falls in love with her. In the end they get married and have grand children, the curse is broken, and Akito and Shigure are together. ( last few pages in the last book)
