THANK YOU!!! I had been reading a bunch of things, but this showed exactly all the parts of what priming it means, and it's very helpful. Now I get to go do it! : )
I have almost the same pump but mine is red I bought it from Northern tool &supply. I can not get any presure/suction from it. Inlet&outlet are hooked up correctly. Bladder had 25 PSI and pump is primed. I fill the in pipe with water and then that pipe I put into a bucket of water (for testing). This is the 2nd pump (same kind) I tried both had same issue The instructions state to check that the shaft in the housing turns .I checked nothing turns. Any Thoughts? PPerrefort@Comcast.net
@joecmetzler was a cheep $100 harbor freight pump, the usual price is around $120ish using coupons helps, take advantage of the deals.
I had a split in the bladder and it wasnt holding pressure, i had to take apart and patch the rubber both sides with a tube fixing kit,, i did both sides to be sure.
I now have it plumbed into my basement and it runs fine.
very good video! Helped me a ton!! Thanks for making it !...i subbed!

can this pump supply a small home? kitchen , bathroom , boiler , and outside water outlet ?

@bushido5150 yes it can no problem.
I use it now to water my garden on a timer.
when you choose the type of pump you want look at its specifications.
gallons per min - head pressure etc.

@cableguyable you dont say anything about electrics, did you plug it in and is the pump running?
if so then you may have mechanical issues and the pump should be returned especially if the main shaft isnt turning as you say.

Hi Ian,
I'm about to buy a pump and would like to know the mfg. and where you bought yours.
Great informative video.
