We were there the week of Dec. 10, 1995 (Villa 149) with our wish child Christopher. We lost him in Aug. 1996, and he is now an angel in heaven .. BUT .. my eternal thanks goes out to Make-A-Wish and Give Kids the World. We had such a wonderful time and made memories that will stay with us until we join Chris in heaven.

Hope you guys had a awesome trip! My sister was diagnosed with germ cell cancer at age 12 and make-a-wish granted her a wish to go to disney world in march of 2007 and we had a blast! I love give kids the world! the ice cream, the pizza delivered to your little house thing, the free fishing, the parties and movie nights, the game room, the pools and of course all of the great people there! I bet your family had as much fun as we did! God bless!

I went through make-a-wish when i was 10 also it was pretty fun but i wish i could go back i didn't stay at give kids the world that week though cuz it was full

I've been back from Give Kids the World for almost 2 weeks now. I miss the free ice cream a lot. They had Kinect for Xbox 360 right when it came out and they've got everything there! except a weight room but it really is a nice place.

Have you been to the Castle of Miracles? If you go inside, There are like thousands of stars in there from people who have been to this place. I forgot where my brother's was. I am going back one day. One Day.

OMG I just got chills all over.....When I was 10yrs Make-A-Wish gave me my wish to go to Disney World for a week......I'll never forget the times me and my parents had sad to say my brother was still in my moms tummy at the time..lol Keep fighting for a cure these kids have hope and alot of love to give in LIFE!

what an amazing place!! I didn't want to leave!! It was a week of wonders!! My daugher cried when she got to feed the dolphins....I hate her cancer, BUT I'm so glad we were able, as a family, to laugh, and enjoy each other. I LOVED staying at GKTW!!! I hated leaving, they were so wonderful, and my kids had such a wonderful time!! How is your son doing?

wow my son was also granted a wish through make a wish. we were down at give kids the world about two weeks ago. both make a wish and give kids the world are incrediable. my family and i had such a great time. we cant thank them enough for everything. my wife and i are actually thinking about moving down to kissimmee fl. when we do i plan on volunteering whenever i can. This Spring of 2009 I initiated my first annual cycling fundraiser for GKTW. I can't wait for next year. I truly think I've gained as much or more from it as the families who visit. What an amazing place! Great video!

this video made me cry, i'm so happy that your family got to make such wonderful memories together. my four year old daughter just got accepted to make-a-wish also. it is truly amazing to see the genorosity of the people that make these kid's wishes come true. it really gives these kids somthing to look forward to in spite of all of the difficult stuf that they have to go through. thanks for sharing, you have a beautiful family.
