Very cool! I know the songs so well in English that I didn't have to think about what they were saying, I just listened to how beautiful it sounds in Dutch... especially the song Hair!

Their transitions into the songs were pretty amazing and it totally worked! It gave you a great impression of the show!

This is the most terrible rendition I've ever seen of HAIR. The movie wasn't bad... But the experience is all about being there with the cast on stage, interacting with them...

There is no reason to try to change or modernize anything. Although it's OK to improv some current eventes into the dialog just for fun... The main story should remain the same. I'ts a good thing to understand that time and what happened, to understand today.

this isn't the musical how it was performed. in the netherlands, we have this award show each year (Musical awards), where they give people awards for their musical they play atm. but they also give little previews from what will be in the theaters next season. they practice 3 days for a preview. so this isn't how they actually play the musical. it's just a preview to promote it, so people know it'll be in theaters next year.(i think theaters is the wrong word but i hope you know what i mean)

No. I was in a production of "Hair." I played Woof. I know the music no matter what language it's in. The musical is about Anti-War, Anti establishment, Anti-Government influence on our personal lives. It's about love, life, sex, freedom, happiness. This is more like a show on a cruise ship. Everyone dressed alike and not really communicating what the songs really mean. Everyone was marching in line, all smiles, and posing. Hair is set in 1969, not 2008.
