I remember someone posted some time ago the finale version from denver, and now I can't find it! It was even more beautiful than the broadway version: ariel and eric's duet was longer, saying she was his sea and he was her land, and there was a "fathoms below" reprise too. If someone out there has that ending, could that someone post it again??? Still I don't know why they changed it: it was so gorgeous...

Dear lord... is this really what the finale? looks like? A bit anticlimactic, no? The sets are horrible and the actors look about as seasoned as high school sophmores playing choir parts in the winter musical.

I haven't seen it yet, but from what I have heard it has if you're in any way a theatre fan. If you're a Disney fan, etc. you'll love it. "Part of Your World" is overdone a lot (similar to "When I Look at You" in The Scarlet Pimpernel: SP2-4!). It's not awful, it's just not that great either! Beauty and the Beast was awesome...shouldn't have closed !

Hm, they seem to have added more color to the backdrop than what I remember in Denver. I don't remember the rainbow thing...but, in any case, I think it's very pretty the way that it is now and was back then, too. :)
