It's almost a kind of foreshadowing, when Johnny looks at Sarah when he's hugging JJ, after telling the kid to call him "just Johnny".

Some seasons later--In the very last scene of the very last episode--Sarah smiles at Johnny, the rift between them resolved at last...and says, "Go be with your son."

Thus, when the series ends, we can infer that at last...JJ can call Johnny "Dad".

I think this is the most beautiful scene in all of the Dead Zone. AMH does such a great job right at the end there of expressing how much it must hurt Johnny not to be raising his own son.

It's funny at 1:21, lil Johnny's eye get wide when she says he has 2 dads.From 2:06-08, I feel so sorry for Johnny when he wants to lay his head on Sarah's hand but she pulls away. He's so alone. Nice though.Finally it was revealed.
