Because a) the biblical account of history has been confirmed by many historians and ancient texts to be true, all the characters existed, and its all written down in other historical ways other than the bible, which confirms its authenticity, and b) the fact that I have personally seen several spiritual healings performed that could only be accomplished by the hand of a creator. and c) The fact that I know that God has a plan for my life and that he is going to impact many lives through me.

Evolution is an observable phenomena. Darwins theory was natural selection and the evidence to support this is overwhelming. How anyone in the twenty first century can seriously believe that we came into existence on the whim of an invisible dictator who lives in the sky, just because thats what some of our bronze age ancestors believed,is both sad and depressing.
