Wow Jim, that's really neat! So less specifically, it could also be called a stellated dodecahedron? Anyway you inspired me to get my hands dirty again... I spent the last three hours trying to construct my favorite polyhedron, the regular stellated icosahedron... from 10 balloons (since it has 20 odd vertices). I finally succeeded. It boiled down to a 5 on top, 5 on the bottom arrangement and the final step was to connect the two hemispheres with 10 loose ends. Fun Stuff! Regards, Jeremy
