Debbie Reynolds isn't the singer she once was, but in her thirties, forties and fifties she had an outstanding belt. She is indeed an amazing performer and was also an excellent dancer. Of course her voice has frayed and the range is shortened. She's 78.

I like Debbie, but that wasn't very good singing. I think she's a lady with real class, but I think she thinks she's a bit better than she really is (entertaining I mean). Big hugs though to the lady!

According to Eddie Fisher, on their wedding night, he made a joke- Debbie was lying in bed, and Eddie went into the bathroom, saying, "I'm kinda busy, start without me." And Debbie was HEARTBROKEN, wondering how to start without him! Not a big barrel of laughs, that Debbie. But cute.

I'd love to hear some more of "The Man That Got Away." If you have some more, please post it. Debbie was never, as Mandeley said, a great singer, but her ability to perform a song was always greater than her soft and sweet voice.
