There are tons of commercials that frame women as competent, attractive, decisive adults who must help/advise/teach their incompetent/overweight/slovenl­y/insensitive etc male counterparts. One reason of course is to discredit the male viewpoint which traditionally has been connected to being frugal when making purchases. Don't listen to the dope! BUY MORE! Most commercials anymore belittle males in general. Make the father look extremely incompetent with his children, as well as fairing with extremely simple household chores. Young boys to be the 'rat pack', and stupid.

All the while, making the mom/female look civilized, rational, heroic, and completely distraught over the man's obvious displacement. As IF...he had no clue.

Most TV viewers are women. Thus wouldn't surprise me if ALL women were to think alike these unreal commercials.
