As a Polo Photographer in NY and FL, I know that credit for the origins of "The Black Watch" Polo Team name/evolution should go to 90's top Scottish Model, Tracy Allan. She dated team Patron, Neil Hirsch for 4 years and introduced Hirsch to horses. The rest is Hampton's/Palm Beach history. Allan named the team in honor of Scotland's Royal Military regiment,"The Black Watch." Hats off to Tracy Allan for naming and help evolve today's most glamorous Polo team.
