the curser is like everywhere, so fucked up. there is no way u can play fist person shooter with this. lol if the guy just stand still u will never hit him
Thats how we look, always sort of "scanning" over objects. It still could be very effective for FPS, because we can move our eyes a lot faster than our hands. You see someone walk into view, eye sort of automaticly pinpoints it. Using Hands its a lot more "processing" Seeing the guy, decide to aim at him, send nerve impulses to the hand, constantly verifying that the movement of the cursor is in sync with the muscle movement, adjusting etc. Also your hand has higher "ping" than your eyes.
ok so is this a private thing u just want to make us want or is this soon to be public and if so would u please tell us realese date or where to download it thx (lulz sry if i sounded rude)
Sort of, it was originally developed in Matlab, but Matlab is very slow and can only work on offline data. Porting it to C++ was required to operate in real time.
How did you do this? Did you modify your webcam to emit a IR light and accept only IR? If so then how did you get this running in a program? What program are you using? Any help or response is greatly appreciated!
It's a custom research system at this point, we'd really like to try it out with FPS games but haven't figured out how hack into a game just yet.. thanks for the feedback..
why not to perform a position averaging? otherwise cursors looks very shaky and will cause fatigue very soon
Damn, so many "experiments" around and no single commercial robust solution to plug to my webcam and start using it right away?!... strange
It's 21st century and we still mass ship this ancient technology out?

stop bullsittin....this is fake crap ur not doing anything with ur eye that tells it to pick up the card

@Anim8or93 - you are right, the eyes only control the motion, the 'click' is still done by hand (not blinking or anything like that).

@triton4242 ahhh that makes sense

Do you strain your eyes when doing this?
And how do you click?
Also is that a normal webcam placed at a normal distance from the user?
hott85 3 years ago
I think that interface of the click push keyboard such as ctrl or alt button not to be used always.

I believe you can control a lil bit more the shaking by reducing the mouse speed in the OS properties, that works for ultra sensitive mouses, try it!

cool xD still shakes a bit lol

You don't need to hack into a game. U can write driver for this.

@triton4242 You can use an Joystick emulator, but since this post is 2 years old i guess you already have a solution for that...
