1. They're good for practice, seriously, if you watch any of my old videos I've improved so much because of doing these. Not saying I'm good or anything, but much better than I was before.

2. Most people aren't afraid of hurting your feelings, so you get pretty brutal criticism, sometimes it's because they're uneducated or ignorant. But sometimes you get genuine criticism and it helps you figure out what you need to work on.

3. Serves as an audition to other musicians looking to start a band

I honestly wasn't trying to do any really high screams, it was an attempt at the new hranica style, which doesn't have the old super highs. But I agree, no matter how good we get, we always have room to improve! It's mostly the mic, but I think stamina has a lot to do with it also. But I'm building it up every day! And pretty soon I'm getting a cable to hook up a real mic directly to my computer! Much better quality!!! And I'll start doing videos to show my stage presence, or lack of one, haha.

Haha, Mike Hranica is the lead vocalist of the Devil Wears Prada. His screaming technique or style changed dramatically from the last record, and I was trying it out, rather than doing the old style that was on the previous albums.

And thank you very much for the mad props, I want this really bad. I wanna spread the word of god, and I think this is how I'm meant to do it. And if you're not christian, that's cool too! Thanks for responding! :)

Nah, haha. No pig squeals, I'm not a big fan of those. I think he only does one on the new cd, and it's on "Ben Has a Kid", but it's only for like a split second. But yeah, I'm just screaming/growling, through my falsetto like normal but lower than I used to be able to :)

Well I don't know what it's called or how I do it exactly, but I scream through my falsetto voice. I can't scream or growl any other way, haha. And to do the "new mike" scream, I kind of just sloppied up my old style a little. But I've already been told I sound a lot like mike before this, so it was kind of an easy transition. Sorry for the bad explanation!
