I made this in Final Cut Pro, which is a poor choice for animation. You could do this kind of animation with much less fuss in Flash or Adobe After Effects.

I did get him back though. We had bunk beds and he slept in the top bunk. One night while he slept I shoved an 8" hatpin from my mom's antique hatpin collection up through the mattress and into his bum. Then quietly slid it under my pillow and angelically pretended to be sleeping while he ran around screaming. And there's the time he was supposed to be babysitting me and instead tied me to a tree in the backyard and went and played baseball for 4 hours with friends. Ahhh, the memories.
*chuckles* sibling affection at its best! ^_^ Me and my brother got on the best while he was playing Doom or UFO on his amazing computer with CD-ROM and a Soundblaster card!! I was allowed to watch, transfixed, as he put the beat-down on his enemies. He was too busy to harass me, and I was too hypnotised to nag and whine. Perfect. ^_^
It's funny, now that we are (alot) older, every time we get together he starts by apologizing for all the things he did to me while growing up. Guilt, the best revenge ;-) My mother trained me well!
Heheheh. I know the feeling. If one doesn't get a proper introduction to a program like FCP, it feels really overwhelming and impossible. However, once you learn one of those advanced editing proggies, you can learn any all by yourself. If you're ever in Scotland, I'll give you an introductory course! ^_^

No, he didn't. Strangely enough, he never did beat me up for any of the more serious incidents... But he didn't stop badgering me, either (don't worry, I've been bombarded with both British and American culture during my childhood, so I get it. ^_^ )

No no, I'll never ever do an animation like this in Final Cut Pro again! Next time, I'll use After Effects, which is MEANT for this sort of thing.
^_^ I try to make the sounds as fitting as possible. This time, I particularly enjoyed the rubbing of the feet. Worth turning up the volume for. And the TV show tune, of course.

Switch that knife with a scissor, and it's almost exactly the same as what happened with me and my brother.

Yeah, I think the problem is that I have quite a few like this. ^_^ I hope to be making at least one more story from those supposedly "care free" days of youngness.
