Of course they lost the most, although they killed more of their own people in the 1930s than the Germans did in the 40s. I was talking about the Concentration camps which is what I assumed we were talking about.

Yes in many parts of the world people are still under immense oppression. Not just in small countries cough China cough. One could say that no country is perfect on civil rights even here in the UK and you lot there in the USA (e.g. women, immigrants, children, the poor etc.).

No, world war 2 was started by Hitler and his party of Nazis. They used violence to try to get what they wanted. After the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people they gained nothing.
