This is the BEST tutorial on how to make these flowers! Thank you so much for making it understandable and easy to follow! I think I can do this :) Thanks again! Christy
Im in the process of making 200 of these flowers, have been sewing them together to make a baby blanket, it super cute ( in case anyones looking for any ideas) this videa is fantastic, thanks for posting!
Like the flower but don't like the hole in center any way to do this with the magic circle? Thanks I love the definition of the petals. Thanks! Easy to follow video.
@juliettegrl The hole in the center is great for using to attach with a button but yeah it's easy to do with a magic circle and close up the hole, just do a magic circle then start with the chain 4.
What a really really easy but lovely flower to make. Thank you. (made a small white one, then on larger needly made a pink one, sewed together then added to puff stitch hat. WOW.) Gorgeous
Thank you so much for this tutorial, I will be watching again with crochet hook and yarn, so I can work along with you. Greetings from North East scotland. xx

I must must tell you that I've been using tons of tutorials on youtube to learn to make flowers. All the videos have been great. Your flower however is one of my most favourite. It is so cute, simple and I love it. Thanks tons.
I'm doing everything exactly as you say, but i have like, a hole in my petal. you're looks like all the triple crochets are joined but mine look like each is seperate :(( i am using a 5mm hook, is it to big?? Pls answer! Thank you!!
YES!! I FINALLY DID IT!! LOL I have watched this video about 10 times following you and because of your great easy to follow tut, I was able to do it. Thank you soo much!

I love this simple pattern because not only does it make great flowers, but it can be tweaked a little to make 3 or 4 leaf clovers. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Brilliant video!!! I've been learning to crochet for a couple of days but so far had only done little squares (or, almost squares!). Oh, how I longed to make something pretty!!! I was able, as a two-day-old crocheter, to copy this tutorial step by step, using the pause to let me do it at my snail's pace! And my flower worked!!! Thank you!!!

I'll definitely be watching/practicing some more to get a 5-petal! Thanks! :)

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have never crocheted before but needed a decoration for my new loom knitted hats that I have just started to make. My flowers had a bigger hole in the middle to start with so I was able to double up and experimented with 3 petals on top of five which also worked well in contrasting colours. After several flowers I have now perfected my technique so they look just like yours!
@Camillascat HI there! Sorry for the delay in replying. Your hats sound wonderful! The flowers too are great when you can make them all your own the way you have. All the best and thanks for your feedback.
Are you kidding me? I have been trying for so long to figure out (using a pattern) how to crochet these little flowers. And in your short video, I now know how to do it. Thank you so much for taking the time to make the video and sharing this.
@momofschnauzers Hi there! Wow! Thanks for your feedback, sorry for the delay in replying. One reason I make these videos is because I'm hopeless at following written patterns, at the least it takes forever. So I wanted to share patterns and I try to video my tutorials as if I were showing someone sitting next to me. I appreciate your comment, as they all help me improve my videos. Bye!
@mrstenajmv Hi there! Thank-you so much for your lovely comment. I generally use a 4mm hook, but lately have found that a slightly smaller 3.5mm gives my work a firmer finish for some work. The flowers though don't want to be too tight, so a 4 or 4.5 mm is sometimes what I use. Cheers!
I have been making these flowers with a different pattern, but this is AWESOME!! I like these flowers much better than the ones that I've been making. Thank you so so much for this wonderful video!!
@JulieDChadwick You're welcome! It's also a great way (and excuse!) to use some odd buttons, and give them a life outside of the button jar. All the best.
@TheJuicyfroot Hey! Wow! That's fantastic, you've made my day, glad I could bring this tutorial to you, I had fun making it up! Cheers and Happy New Year!
Thank you so much. Made some fingerless gloves and wanted a flower to add to it. Great tutorial. Easy and fast. Made exactly what I was hoping for :o)

Bye!

You have amazing videos and are a great teacher......what size crochet hook are you using???
mrstenajmv 1 year ago
