Well before there was any type of name given to the collection of prank phone calls it was simply just a guy named Red being prank called at the bar he worked at or owned called The Tube Bar.

Yeah he does. I think that's why they later cast Lawrence Tierney for a film that was made about it. If my drawing resembles Lawrence, which someone said before, it's purely a coincidence. I just pictured him looking that way by the way he sounded.

Actually, according to Jim Davidson, one of the pranksters who made the calls, the phone was on the customer side of the bar, so, Red had to step out from behind the bar to answer it, which is one of the reasons the prank calls pissed him off so much.
