I love her voice at "an older version of me." that is her REAL voice, strong and deeper than the sexy voice she uses on most of her songs now. I wish she would sing like that more often, then she could actually sing her songs live. This also proves she isn't lip syncing as some below want to claim, because it's different each performance.

One time I was at this karaoke bar in NYC, and this girl sang this song it was AMAZING, I wish I could had got more information from here, I haven't seen anyone perform this song better that she did that night not even Alanis morissette so if you find a cover where someone sing this song and is better than this email me, thanks

Play performances greensboror and chicago "Simultaneously". Exactly the same.

Dallas' is the only performance where she actually sings live, albeit still with a backing track but its alot lighter.

i think the reason she didnt lip sync on this was because she could use her real voice on it, her cds have the high pitched nasal thing, and I think when she tries to sing them live that she tries to do do what she does in the studio and its just not as pleasant live as it is in the studio, she should rearange her music to her real voice live

That's partially true. But this isn't her natural register (tone) either. MMC + Star Search.

What she uses in the studio is labeled the "baby voice" which is the high pitch nasally thing she does with her voice. She's doing it here to but it's one song. She wouldn't be able to carry those vocals for an entire concert. Be too stressful on the vocal chords. Which is why she can't sing LIVE a lot. Shame. I'd like to hear her incorporate her real voice into her music as well.
