  • @DragAnnFly : sweet... Im glad it came out well.. nothing like food that reminds u of the great past times.

  • Oh ,y goodness, you have made me hungry. especially when you opened the Heineken

  • yummm, gonna make some today but I think I will add clams, lobster, and other types of seafood. Wish me luck! lol! happy new year!

  • @lovelylashes7: sounds good. take a picture, but only if it comes out fabulous. Happy New yr 2u2.

  • how long can you keep palm oil. i had a bottle like yours but i never opened it and I had it for about 7 months in the cabinet was it still good because threw it out. I was no longer with my African boy friend so I wasn't sure if it was still good and i was very angry also but now I wish i didn't throw it cause i like the food cooks with it although I can go back to the African market and get a next one. just for the record i would like to know

  • @MsSheeka: Yes It is good. I don't know for how long, but i have had some for some 2 yrs b4. As long as u dont use it n keep the used 1. but yes u can keep palm oil for over a year. NOTE: If u go to buy palm oil there R some that R a bit mixed, u can tell cuz they're yellowish lookin mixes/bubbles, they R not bad but its like 85% good. It should be all same color. its ok if it fades at the very top.

  • @One4theworld okay thank you for responding and taking the time to explain.

the palm oil i had was red and the oil settled at the top the remainder was very thick

  • @MsSheeka i love peanut soup recipe also plus the eggplant soup one too i have some eggplant from Ghana in the can here also some peanut for soup her as well but i am to afraid to try and make it for my self

  • @MsSheeka: Naa, dont be afraid to make peanut soup.. if u already know how to make any other african soup at all. start the same, when it needs to boil 20 minutes b4 its done as a regular soup, u can just take 3-4 heaping table spoons of peanut into a separate small pot with just a quarter cup of water n stir as it warms up, when its all smooth which should only take less than 5 minutes of stirring, pour it into the soup n let soup boil till done or for 20 minutes.
