Good luck with the 747 build! Did the company that you sold this incredible 737 sim intend to use it for professional training or what? Hope you were able to turn a profit as well! Wicked awesome!

Is this using X-Plane 10 for the flight sim software, or something entirely different? Sorry if that is a dumb question, i'm only familiar with X-Plane.
Sweet setup, one Question for you, are all the controls USB2.0 and do they all tie in directly into the Computer or are they routed through a USB hub then into the computer?
@Kazzukki Hi yes you right where I’m studying we have A320 Simulator and they say it costs around 2 000 000 € and ATPL is about 100 000 €. However I don’t like Airbus I like Boeing 737 - 800

This may sound like a daft question, but how lifelike are these simulators? For example, would you consider yourself able to fly an real aeroplane after using your simulator for... say 500 hours?
I only have one real question. I just started using FS9 after being a long time FSX user. I was wondering how you get your sim to look so real. What mesh, what scenery, what environment are you using? ANY help would be welcomed!
Wierd, i didnt see the N1 changing when u engaged reverse thrust :)
also what u lack is a room (to contain the simulator) and under it about 6 powerful hydraulic pumps that will connect to fsx (or whatever software u use) and copy exact plane's attitude :P
would be more fun + i would belive this video is in reality if u had a co-pilot and those pumps to make some touchdown shaking hehe ^^
can you build one home cockpit for me or tell me how i can build one like yourse. cause i dont no how to build one, ive searched every where to know how to build it but i can't find it. please help me :(
Do you guys wait the full length of the flight to land? Or other than the fast forwarding functions, is there any other way to just do everything else except the cruising part? Help please! Thanksss.

your roatation was too soon, you were given a altitiude warning of 500 after takeoff you had not set your heading alt on takeoff? no wonder your using a flight sim! but i still am envious of your setup
@bilshut How could you possibly know if my rotation was "too soon" or not? Can you see the Vr bug on the airspeed tape? Because I can't. The 500' callout is a radio altimeter callout. It indicates that we were less than 500' AGL over one of the several ridges at the end of the runway at Paro. It has nothing to do with setting my "heading alt on takeoff," whatever the hell that means. Of course you already knew all this, since you obviously fly something other than a flight sim.
@ckrailvideo I except my ineptitude for this video clip and my comments were both unfounded and exaggerated for the point of sarcasm, so i both apologize for my impromptu remark and unfounded opinions! i hope the matter is clarified and we can remain friends!
@zszs100 Thanks! I had just a shade over $100k into this sim, but sold it in full to a professional company in California back in October. The first stages are now in place to start my new simulator (and the one I really wanted all along), the B747-400. I'm looking forward to the challenges of building a 100% realistic representation of the "Queen of the Skies" while having the benefits of all the knowledge I gained (and the MANY mistakes I made) building the 737NG on the first go.
@ckrailvideo WOW u must be a perfessional computer engineer, being able to build all that. From the video, I think ur simulator can move as well, just like the one used to train pilot but those ones cost millions and yours only cost you 100k. Amazing!
@ckrailvideo Do you like the 47-400 better than the 87-8 or -9.....or would it just be mad mad expensive to build a realistic 787 cabin. Btw...any video I see claiming they have the "best" setup, well first of all is subjective to begin with; however all things taken into account I always direct ppl to your videos...what a project and it turned out looking insanely clean!
@cameronwick Thanks so much for the kind words, Cameron! To answer your question, the 747 has always held a special place in my heart, and that's really the only reason behind deciding to do the -400 as my next sim. Well, that, and four throttles! My last sim was a twin, so I'm really not interested in doing another twin, even the 787.
@jerdiggity thanks, im 6 foot tall so if thats a case of sms then im guilty! i expressed an opinion on a world wide web site and i get chastised for my comment so how can you evaluate my height from a comment? maybe shows your obviously from educated stock ie:harvard if your american or Eton if your English? if not kiss my ass retard and waste 2 mins of some other poor utube visitor
I mean Flight Simulator is a fantastic hobby and all but there is only a couple reasons I'd go this far with it. 1. I couldn't pass Real World Training due to Medical or just not having the ability. 2. I was loaded and had money to waste! Flight Simulator will never give you the real feeling of Flight! Some may say it's to expensive to Train but it's called a loan. Like University, some pay it back their whole lives! Still looks awesome but a little OTT! Sorry don't mean to sound like an ass!
There are always funding for flight school, through universities and all (grants, scholarships, loans etc.) even with a medical condition of course depending on what it is, you can get it wavered. Love the sim. I was just wondering, with the way computers are always changing, how will you make the sim compatible with new OS? I don't think your going to want to give up your $110,000 due to out of date OS and components. Is there something i'm not aware of? Because i'm very happy using fs9 and fsx. Doesn't look good for the flightsiming future. So, how do we use the future OS for current flightsims? I'm assuming you thought about this before building the sim. Love to hear your thoughts. Thx
