When I was in junior high I was only about 6 feet tall...I didn't get much taller since then though if it makes you feel any better.

and the middle school/laptop thing... it's weird. I didn't even start typing my essays until high school. and i didn't have a lap top until my 3rd year in college.

i don't think kids need lap tops, but i guess typing is a skill they could use all throughout their lives... might as well learn it when they're young.
