So it barely moves from A to Asus4, then only changes bass note from Asus4 to Bm7
then again just expands up to add E on top. Static sounding - all the movement in "suss'ing" and melody. It definitely is NOT A to D to E. Maybe somebody can expand on this...
@woland99 I am glad there are people much smarter than me dealing with this. I always take the easy way out and it is not the greatest. Keep me posted.
@mumd2003 Hey man - I agree Weepies sound deceptively easily but music is tight bass, rhythm and really nice fills. I was trying to set it on one guitar (to play behind vocalist) - still trying - but it was sth like x076xx x077xx 7x77xx 0x775x to play the harmony and then you can superimposed the fills played of E box on 5th fret. Keep on rocking, brother!
A bit simplified - - Weepies original has definite "sus" sound to it. Probably delaying going to E and playing Dsus2 for a beat ? Or possible sth along the line: A, Asus4 (or D/A), Bm7 (or Asus4/B) , E/B
@mrcliver very charitable. I did have fun doing this song. It is amazing how simple it seems when you listen to them by how hard it is to do. Thanks again
@s6824s thank you for the feedback. It's a hard song to do. It's okay for what it is but I hope you listen to the original. I do believe it is on YouTube. It was fun trying. Thanks again

To my ears (not very good ones...) it sounds more like something along the line:
A (or perhaps A/C#) , Asus4, Bm7(noF# - or D/B no F#), Dsus2/B (Esus4)
ie:
x02220 (or x42220) | x02230 | x2023x | x20230 (or 0x0230)
So it barely moves from A to Asus4, then only changes bass note from Asus4 to Bm7
then again just expands up to add E on top. Static sounding - all the movement in "suss'ing" and melody. It definitely is NOT A to D to E. Maybe somebody can expand on this...
