easiest way is to import the raw movie from your camera into Windows Movie Maker, you can add some effects like titles and transitions into it (just like I did here)
then you can export it as a WMV (Windows Media Video), that WMV you can upload to YouTube
Most Windows XP computers come with Movie Maker, look for it here:
