@akmalegmail Clearly you've never owned a dachshund.... they are little in stature, but they are tough. smart, and fast. My doxie would have that deer by the throat!
The deer is down right stupid but great video. For a second I thought he was gonna attack your dog. I saw he lowered his one antler at him. Amazing that you got so close.
we feed deer so they get bigger, that and age... then we kill em. No kidding, that aint right, we shouldnt feed deer or plant these vegitation shit for em either, it aint fair. I love to hunt, but come on...
u r ALL retards cant u see the feeders? u fucking ppl scare me with ur stupidity hes PROBLY fed the deer for a while so they r use to him being that close. dubasses ALL of ya
That deer could have turned on you and jabed you or goared you with its antlers, they are mostly tame but they can turn , and that is what dashunds do they are breed to be fearless to fight vermin and drag european badgers out of their den, they will stand their ground.
That deer kept looking at the dog like what the heck like huh what is this dog doing.
I make fun of my mini doxie all the time that when we go for a walk, people laugh at him. Now its even more funny that a deer, kinda laughed at the winer dog lol
I wish there were more seasoned hunters out there that would explain to you all the wrong things going on here. You call deer to your property without knowledge. Seeing that you do have deer (and a feeder) and sicking a tiny dog on them, makes me think you dont have a lot of sense. (sorry bout the dip-shit thing) but maybe you can educate yourself and your neighbors, about not feeding wild-life. I hope.
Be glad it was a young buck. An older buck would likely have pinned the wiener dog to the ground with it's antlers. Not a good idea to sick a little dog on a buck, they sometimes react badly to such things. Feeder in the back yard, now there's a great idea. Then when the deer move in and start eating all the expensive landscaping, then their a problem. No, you put out the invite, just deer being deer. I see it all the time, suburbanites.
Thats really cool. Deer are known as shy as stuff but they are also extremely curious animals. When they come through my yard they check out everything and if something changes they will notice and concentrate on it for a while. Theyre nosy as hell lol. I cant get close to any of them though.
When you walk into your backyard and see your poor little doggie stomped into the damn ground maybe you'll re-think the "get it!" command, you dip-shit!!!
i think the dog has adhd lol. couldnt keep his attention for more than a second... and the deer was like "... what the fuck is that?! get that damn rodent away from me!"
Im really surprised at alot of the people who have commented that there is absolutely no way this is a wild deer. When in fact *most* deer have a natural fear of humans because they live within an area where humans are populated to some degree. This deer might have very well been one of the few that simply did not know any better to have any real fear of humans if it hadnt been around any. That, and judging by the one horn, its a male. And male deers tend to have alot more bravery then females.
deer was just minding his own business then some daschund had to stir some shit up.....why make the dog go after it? if deer had another horn with 5-6 points on each side with a wild temper wilderness temper....that poor lil puppy dog woulda been "dead dog meat" lol.....stuck 4-5 horns inside that dog and flung his ass 20 feet yelling all the way is what woulda happened in reality.
i do not feel sorry for people like you and your stupid damn dogs when you get an antler jammed into your spleen or get the crap kicked outta you .....stupid fkn ppl IF YOU BLATANTLY LET your dog go after wild animals your wrong no matter how clever of a comment you think you can throw back at me YOUR WRONG
It is possible that the animal could have been lose and someone could have taken it in and then let it loose.. In other words, its people friendly, but not so safe for the deer. Buttt.. the deer would be taking off of the dog would have charged at him like that..
That is awesome. I love the way the deer just looks at the dog like really? You are lucky to have such great surroundings for your back yard. Thanks for sharing.
@WilliepProductions well obviously you dont have a pet deer right so its just a deer that got used to your residence and feels safe enough to come around
this is perfectly plausible. I've gotten pretty dang close t some deer myself before, and my bro's gotten eve closer this this guy to some elk.
Of course I don't expect you to believe me. Unfortunately people always lie on the internet, and they always swear. So please don't bother swearing me out because I'm probably lying, I'm probably a city slicker who's never seen a grass lawn let alone a deer or elk and I'm probably pulling every thing I say out of my but.

O sweet. I was totally geared up for you to cuss me out.
I think It really just depends on the area and how pestered the wildlife is. I've seen some deer that you would be extremely hard pressed to get anywhere near them, but the deer at yellow stone are extremely tolerant. obviously this deer was relatively used to humans, even if it's not tame.
@Fearyourgovernment Actually its easy in some areas.. At my uncles house they come for the apple tree and he feeds them by hand after he cuts them in half so they can eat the apples..
