@RexEuropa what are the default clock speeds of your card. i just got a gigabyte gtx 560 ti from newegg last friday. afterburner shows the default voltage at 1000 and core clock 822. i think 1000 too low. my gts 450 has a core clock of 810mhz and voltage at 1025.
sometimes you buy a card and the voltage is grayed out in afterburner and there is nothing you can do. i've seen this on 2 cards so far. msi gtx 560 non ti twin frozr 2 clocked at 870 and gigabyte gtx 460v2. i hate that, no reason for it.
sometimes the manufacturers set the wrong voltages. these numbers have worked in every nvidia card i own. i got these numbers directly from afterburner on a gtx 550 ti.
@badwolf66 get the latest driver and adjust core clock to 820, worked for me with my GTX 560 ti Geforce card :) have been playing for HOURS now with out crash :)
Works! Factory overclock was the problem. Underclock to default 560Ti speed or just slightly over, and the problem went away. I didn't have to touch the voltage.
I wouldn't have guessed this, since I didn't have any heat issues during BF3. No instability in other games either.
This worked great! My Gigabyte card already had Voltage set to 1016 or so, but turning the Core Clock down to 800 from about 910 worked fantastically. No noticeable performance hit, either. Thanks so much for the video!
well i use ati radeon HD 6850 AND WIN 7 home premium 32 bit but it runs as smooth as butter but then freezes and crashes and idk wat to do i hav the latest ati drver and all pllzzzzz reply i need help
In Windows 7/Vista go to Start menu. Go to Accessories. Locate the command prompt shortcut and hover mouse over it. Right Click on the shortcut then select Run as Administrator.
In the command prompt type this exactly:
bcdedit /set increaseuserva 2500
Then hit enter and restar PC. Dont do anything else after just restart PC
CTD 24/7 But this one fixed it. Hope this helps and fixes it for you :)
Hi there, I tried the this and it worked. But now I after a few sessions, I get these horrid lines all over the screen that move and make it unplayable. did this happen to you?
Neither one of these ways worked for me. fucking garbage keeps crashing after like 5-10 minutes of playing multiplayer. Dice/EA need to seriously fix their shit.
man my core voltage i cant use, shader clock and fan speed i cant move it at all i can only move core clock and memory clock, core clock only goes up to 650 and down to 300 and memory clock is only from 450 to 200 how come mine is not as much as urs?
@FreedomFighter08 There is now way to be shure what settings will work best for you. So the easiest way to find the best settings for your card is to try diffrent settings.
This works !!! Thank you so much, you are the MAN !!! :) Now I play Battlefield 3 without freezing and crash to desktop. Everybody who has same problem try it. (I have GeForce GTX 560 Ti).
Nvidia EVGA GTX 570. just tried it, decreased the core clock from 797 to 707. played it for over an hour. still no problemo. thx man. it really works! :D
@gohanroshi If I set mine to 1012 then it become worse than on 987. If you underclock your card it should actually last longer because you are stressing the card less
@PyroMania61 I'm sorry to see that this did not work for you. I know how anoying it is when i won't work, have you tried to set the core clock on diffrent levels?
@PyroMania61 same here I have set 800Mhz-810Mh-820MHz-820MHz-830Mhz-840Mhz and 850MHz nothing helped me so far but from day 2 of the release i cant stop playing in even knowing that it will crash soon :DD
